Aion 2.5 Style Preview

While I know most stylephiles out there have already seen the often linked, new costumes posted here... I also know not everyone has seen the promo shots! So, I've compiled them in a handy simpleviewer gallery.

I have 3 words... Drop. Dead. Gorgeous. (...also, re. the men's styles, I am absolutely loving that last one.)

On the street... Willy, Nilly, Silly; Sanctum

While I typically loathe and detest UGG boots in the real world, they're definitely an amusingly cute (and rather uncommon) accessory in Atreia. They really add an extra touch of personality to this fun, playfully dyed Miragent's ensemble.

On the street... Rental Armor; Temple of Gold, Pandaemonium

When I think of rentals, "fashionable" is not one of the first words that comes to mind... However, in this case, I must say that it does look quite nice (and matches this young ranger's bow beautifully as well, if I may add).

On the street... Looking Fabulous at any Level, Pandaemonium Plaza

...only level 10 and already utilizing the dye system so fantastically. It's rare to see someone of this level (especially a new player) not looking all amiss in a hodgepodge of mismatched armor pieces. this girl gets some definite style points for finding a way to look fabulous the moment she arrived in the city.

On the street... Ravashing Red, Gelkmaros Fortress

I love the richness of the red dye on this armor... bonus points for being named after (whether intentionally or not) a fantastic beer as well. ;)

On the street... Schoolgirl Chic; Primum Fortress, Reshanta

It's very rare to see anyone accessorizing using pieces of level 30 Daevanion sets... but when I do, it almost always catches my attention immediately. Mercy chain is so under appreciated these days... and yet, here it is, one piece being worn as an impeccably stylish shoulder accessory. The shoulder bow and the glasses really make this look (with the red dyed CJ top being notably fantastic as well though). Very well done.

On the street... Style Fusion; Pandae Plaza, Pandaemonium

I'm not sure what it is... This look just seems so effortlessly cool.

On the scene... Another Stylish Look for Spring, Gelkmaros Fortress

Beautiful use of color... the pink, violet-toned blue and cool toned silver works remarkably well together here. Fantastic styling!

On the street... Vanilla Creme Colored, Gelkmaros Fortress

Beautifully executed use of the dragonbound cloth skin (without using the overly popular dragonbound chest skin!) I especially love the aged, ivory colors here.

On the street... Antique Yellows and Silvers; Temple of Gold, Pandaemonium

This truly makes me long for spring to arrive... My favorite colors for Spring 2011: pastels (especially pale, aged yellows, muted pinks, ivory) paired with pale golds, silvers and grays.

I really can't tell you how much I adore this ensemble.

On the street... Urban Sophisticate, Sanctum

Curiously fashionable... I like how chill this whole look appears. It's rather unexpected, to be honest, but somehow it works.

On the scene... Devastatingly Chic, Chantra Dredgion

This really is a gorgeous ensemble for any stylish sorcerer or spiritmaster, and it's one of my favorite new sets.
